GRS Bagging Ltd was founded in 2000 by GRS (Roadstone). It
was formed in response to our customers' needs within the builders
merchant segment. The operation began as a small manual plant
in Hatfield quarry but has developed into sophisticated technology
with the latest robotic production line.
Hatfield was soon followed by Willington (Bedfordshire), Iver (West London), Alrewas (Midlands), Harefield (Buckinghamshire), Romford (Essex), Tyttenhanger (Hertfordshire), Husbands Bosworth (Leicestershire) and Rainham (East London).
GRS Bagging now covers a significant portion of the UK, from
Newcastle to the South Coast through its network of plants and a fleet of
its own dedicated transport.
In June 2003, Lafarge purchased a shareholding of GRS Bagging.
There are plans for continual expansion at the request of our
loyal customers.
GRS Bagging offers a wide range of sands, gravels, decorative
and specialist products both in bulk bags and polythene sacks.
We also have the flexibility to deliver in small loose loads.
Please note that GRS (Bagging) only supplies to builders' merchants and not the general public!

Stephen Attwood - GRS Bagging Managing
Director:
Stephen joined GRS Roadstone in 1981 as a Sales Representative.
By 1986 he had become Regional Manager for the South East.
In 2000 Stephen pioneered the development of GRS Bagging.
Stephen is also a major shareholder of the company. |

Rick Faulkner - Production Director:
Rick became involved with the GRS Group as a sub contract
haulier in 1990. Then in 1999 assisted with Stephen Attwood
Rick began the production company specialising in bagged
aggregates. Rick is now Production Director.

Rick Lewis -
National Production Manager:
Rick joined
Lafarge in 1996 batching ready mixed concrete and later
in 2001 Rick was promoted to cluster production manager.
In April 2010 Rick joined GRS Bagging on secondment from
Lafarge aggregates as National Production Manager. |

Paul Ewen - Sales
Director:
Paul joined GRS Roadstone in 1998 as a Sales Representative.
Paul was then given the specific brief of the development
of the builders merchants business in Herts, Essex and
East London for both bagged and loose sales. Paul was
promoted to Sales Manager in 2006. Paul was appointed to
the board in Jan 2011

Lee Hudson -
Director:
Joined GRS Roadstone in 1998 as a Sales Co-ordinator and
now is responsible for all aspects of the internal organisation
of bagging and specific customer contacts. Lee was one
of the original team embarking on GRS Bagging and was
promoted to Sales Office Manager in 2003. Lee was
appointed to the board in Jan 2011
